Ship your vessel and advance payment
Please pack and ship your vessel securely.
We will inform you of the shipping address by e-mail.
IMPORTANT: We only accept packages that already received a formal estimate and shipping charges paid.

Wait for the Kintsugi repair to be completed.
We will start the repair work when the requested item arrives. Please wait for a while until the repair is completed.

Kintsugi repair and confirmation
Kuh’s repair work is done with “real lacquer”, but if you want to use “synthetic lacquer”, please specify.
“Synthetic lacquer”, which is made mainly from plant sap, has a hardening effect when it dries, just like “real lacquer”. It also dries very quickly.
In terms of safety, “synthetic lacquer” is within the test standards of the Food Sanitation Law, which is lower than the mass of lead contained in a liter of mineral water.
Therefore, the repaired items cannot be used in microwave ovens or dishwashers.
The kintsugi repair depends largely on the degree of cracks and breaks in the vessel, so we cannot specify the design or accept redoing.
※Although we take great care in packing your pottery for delivery, we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur to the pottery due to problems with the shipping company. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from requesting repairs for expensive vessels.
